Fitness Center
Colonsay Fitness Center Update
Our community has faced several years of extreme weather, heavy rains, and persistent moisture. Unfortunately, this has caused significant damage to the Colonsay Fitness Center — one of our town’s cherished historic buildings. At this time, the facility is no longer safe or usable.
Restoring the building would require funding beyond what is currently available, and applying for grants to refurbish it will take time. For now, the Fitness Center will remain closed.
If you purchased a fitness pass after the closure date, please visit the Town Office and we will gladly provide a refund.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes. The Fitness Center has been an important part of our community, and we share in the disappointment.
We are hopeful that, in time, we will find a new way to offer a dedicated space for fitness and wellness in Colonsay.
