Boards & Committees in Colonsay
Colonsay is powered by community spirit, and our boards and committees play a big role in keeping our town active, welcoming, and growing. Our main board is the Recreation Board, which oversees programs, events, and recreation facilities throughout the year. We also have several community groups with upcoming information pages, including Communities in Bloom, the Colonsay Swimming Pool Committee, and the Slo‑Pitch Group.
These boards and committees help shape the activities, beautification projects, and recreation opportunities that make Colonsay such a great place to live.
Interested in Joining a Committee?
We’re always excited to welcome new volunteers! If you enjoy helping out, have ideas to share, or want to contribute your skills to the community, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re great at organizing, gardening, coaching, planning events, or simply showing up with a positive attitude — there’s a place for you.
We’re creating a
Committee Interest Form where you can tell us:
- What committees you’re interested in
- Your talents, skills, and experience
- The type of volunteering you enjoy
- Your availability and preferences
This helps us match volunteers with the right opportunities
and keeps our community programs thriving.
Please watch for the fill in form or leave your name and contact information at the Town Office!
Want to get involved?
Colonsay’s boards and committees are always looking for friendly, community‑minded volunteers. Fill out our Committee Interest Form and help shape the programs, events, and projects that make our town shine.
