Town water is currently experiencing elevated pH levels. The water remains safe for consumption and is expected to return to balanced pH levels within a few days.
The town of Colonsay, Saskatchewan, Canada was founded on May 21, 1908, as a post office. It was later incorporated as a village in 1910 and received town status in 1977.
The RM began as a Local Improvement District in 1906 and became the RM of Colonsay No 342 in 1910.
